Every product undergoes a rigorous, sophisticated monitoring and quality assurance program, from heat treatment to testing to the final inspection. Roles & Responsibilities 

    Reads work order and drawings for product specifications, such as dimension and tolerances 

    Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathes, boring machines, drill press, and grinders, to machine forgings to specifications, following blueprints, and/or sketches applying knowledge of machining methods 

    Set up and operate machine shop equipment 

    Observe operation of machine and follow Safety rules 

    Verify dimensions using measuring instruments, such as calipers, gauges, etc. 

Desired Requirements 

    Must be able to read and understand work orders, drawings, and other written instructions 

    Must have knowledge of metal characteristics and machining methods 

Competency 

Minimum Requirements 

    Minimum three (3) years’ machine shop experience desired 

    Machinist will be adequately trained to perform related duties 

Desired Qualifications 

    High School Diploma
