Inside Sales Specialist
Job Overview: This position is responsible for working closely with Sales Leadership and Outside Sales Executives to ensure the timely and effective response to inbound sales inquiries, gathering initial customer needs, pre-qualifying, and assigning to the appropriate Outside Sales Executive. This role also includes quote generation, customer follow-up and collaborating with internal stakeholders and team members to speed the sales cycle for all product lines. Finally, inbound sales has the responsibility and ability to sign 1-5 location retail and financial accounts for added sales bonuses. The Inside Sales Specialist will have knowledge and experience with CRM software.
Accountabilities:
- Respond to inbound sales-related phone calls and emails.
- Pre-qualify customer and assign to appropriate sales rep.
- Generate quotes and follow up with customers.
- Coordinate field presentations and meetings.
- Perform effective online demos to prospects.
- Close assigned customers and facilitate the contract process.
- Accurately update and maintain Salesforce.com.
- Maintain working knowledge of products and product configurations.
- Ensure all prices quoted remain within established discount guidelines.
- Sign 1-5 location retail and financial accounts for CIT business.
- Other duties as assigned.
Primary Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in customer service or inside sales is required.
- Must be comfortable making 50-100 outbound calls per day.
- Must have strong phone presence and listening skills.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and deliver results with aggressive timelines
- Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written, to both technical and non-technical audiences that are in a geographically dispersed environment (conference calls, Skype, face-to-face).
- Ability to speak and write English fluently.
- Demonstrate sharp, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM.
- Based in Houston, TX.
