About the Role: Human Resources Generalist
As a Human Resources Generalist at Kumon North America, you will:
- Drive Success for Associates: Provide excellent customer service to all Kumon Associates, acting as a liaison between Human Resources and the Company.
- Build Relationships: Promote communication and positive relationships with associates to enhance satisfaction and engagement.
- Promote Growth: Support the core focus areas of Human Resources, including Company Culture, Associate Relations and Engagement, Performance Management, Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, and Human Capital Management Systems.
- Deliver Expert Support: Facilitate the performance management process, support associate relations issues, and administer various associate benefits programs.
- Analyze and Act: Review, analyze, and share data regarding associate recruitment, engagement, and retention; recommend programs, policies, and procedures improvements.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Experience: 4-7 years of prior experience as an HR Generalist required
- Skills: Excellent communication, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Independent and Proactive: Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and propose solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the performance management process, from developing and supporting training to administering the process and performing system maintenance.
- Promote communication and positive relationships with associates to enhance satisfaction and engagement.
- Support associate relations issues, including complaints, discrimination, and harassment claims.
- Review and propose policy and procedure updates, including updates to the Associate Handbook.
- Perform compensation analysis and develop proposals to ensure consistency with internal equity and external market data.
- Administer various associate benefits programs, including short- and long-term disability claims.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of training programs.
- Support the Human Capital Management Systems, including implementations, ongoing support, and maintenance.
Location Requirement:
This role is based in Rutherford, NJ and requires the candidate to work form the office 2x a week and 3-days remote.
