ROLE SUMMARY 

​​Ensure fluidity of manufacturing processes for prescription metered dose inhalers. The manufacturing line lead supports the shift supervisor by ensuring that the production line operations are performed in a safe, compliant, and productive manner. This includes communication with the prior and next shift supervisors, floor manufacturing lead, line leads, and escalation of issues to management, maintenance, engineering, and quality.  

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • ​​Lead a team of operators and technicians. 
  • ​Troubleshoot packaging line equipment. 
  • ​Operate the line equipmentas needed. 
  • ​Collaborate and communicate with maintenance and engineering team. 
  • ​Leadsevacuation during emergencies or line outages, in the absence of a supervisor. 
  • ​Reports production absences, call-ins, etc., in the absence of a supervisor of floor lead 
  • ​Support operatorsand packaging technicians to run the production line. 
  • ​Generate Serialization End of Batch report. 
  • ​D365 support as needed. 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 

  • ​​High School Diploma with at least three (3) years of manufacturing experience required. 
  • ​Working GMP experience 
  • ​Possessesgood organizational skills. 
  • ​Strong analytical/critical thinking skills 
  • ​Strong leadership skill 
  • ​Proficient in Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Teams) 
  • ​Effective attention to detail 
  • ​Excellent communication skills 
  • ​Must be able to occasionally liftto 25 lbs. 
  • ​Possesses the right balance between being independent and collaborative. 

​ Preferred Skills and Experience 

  • ​Prior line lead or leadership experience 
  • ​Team coaching, mentoring, training,and cross-training 
  • ​2+ years of experience in a highly regulated industry (pharmaceuticals, aerospace, medical device, nutraceuticals etc.) 
  • ​Experience and general understanding of Continuous Improvement
