Role Responsibilities
- Operates Auto or Semi-Auto Packaging equipment and pallet jack.
- Qualify and obtain license to operate Forklift.
- Proficient in performing daily packaging operations tasks.
- Perform PQA and equipment challenges.
- Perform minor equipment troubleshooting to resolve issues and to achieve shift target.
- Monitor packaging lines and equipment throughout operation.
- Proficient in performing minor product changeover.
- Execute changeover to the established completion time. Good setup and changeover are achieved with minimal troubleshooting and line down time.
- Adjusts packaging equipment as necessary to ensure finished product meets quality standards.
- Follow escalation process. Works closely with maintenance personnel and Engineering to identify and troubleshoot equipment problems to improve OEE.
- Must be qualified to use respirator, or Versaflo.
- Must be proficient in serialization process as well Optel.
- Familiar with D365 and inventory management system.
- Record information needed to run a batch in appropriate documents per NRSOPs and PMO. GMP
- Ensure that the appropriate materials are check- in to the lot.
- Checks and verifies count of material delivered to lines by warehouse personnel and label vault prior to line startup.
- Counts and prepares returns to warehouse and if needed to the label vault at conclusion of run.
- Prepares pallets of finished goods for transfer to warehouse using D365.
- Attend and participate in the Tier 1 process. Communicate line equipment issues, safety, and GMP issues.
- Performs all department operations consistently at standard cost and quality levels.
- Possess sufficient knowledge of job duties to function as SME for training purposes when needed.
- Utilize Dayforce reporting system for payroll.
- Utilize MasterControl training system and keeps assigned training current.
- Maintain job qualifications current and complete each training modules within the set period.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED and 12 to 15 months of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- Excellent attention to details.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions; able to read, write legibly, understand, and communicate in English.
- Must become qualified in job performance within the specified amount of time allowed.
- Basic mathematical skills including metric conversions and percentages.
- Excellent teamwork & inter-personal skills, able to effectively communicate process and equipment information to co-workers and FOT management when needed.
- Physical effort involves lifting 25-65 lbs.
- Good mechanical skills to ensures that packaging equipment are operating per established standards and procedures.
- Time management; plans daily tasks for an efficient operation and the effective use of resources.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Attend and participate in the Tier 1 Process.
- Previous work experience in an FDA/GMP regulated manufacturing environment is preferable.
