The Impact You Will Make
The Quality Control Laboratory Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that our incoming Raw Material and Hard Goods meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to perform a variety of quality control tests and inspections. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to maintaining high standards of product quality and safety.


Role Responsibilities        

  • Perform routine Quality Control tests on hard goods and packaging components using standard testing methods and instrumentation. Conduct tests to assess product quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Ensure that samples are properly labeled, handled, and stored to maintain sample integrity and traceability.
  • Operate laboratory equipment and instrumentation used for Quality Control testing, including spectrophotometers, pH meters, balances, and other analytical instruments. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instruction (WI) and safety protocols for instrument operation.
  • Record test results, observations, and other relevant data accurately and legibly in laboratory notebooks, worksheets and/or electronic databases. Maintain detailed records of all Quality Control activities in compliance with regulatory requirements and Kindeva policies.
  • Communicate all non-conformances or atypical results to Quality Control Group Lead and/or Manager in a timely manner.
  • Document non-conformance in Quality Management System as required.
  • Support continuous improvement activities within functional group and/or department as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and Kindeva policies related to laboratory operations and quality control testing. Follow established protocols for handling hazardous materials, chemical waste disposal, and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
  • Comply with GMPs and department SOPs.
  • Update or Create documents such as SOPs, WIs or Worksheet/Forms as needed to update or document new procedures.
  • Work well in both a team and an individual environment.
  • Maintain flexibility to support unexpected rush material release requests.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality Control or Laboratory Technician role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations and measurement techniques.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and complying with regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment and must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree or certification in a scientific field.
