Automated Tester (Remote)
Eagle Harbor Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Automated Tester with a Secret security clearance to support EHS and our government customer. This is a Remote opportunity.

The Automated Tester will be designing, coding/scripting and finally automating testing activities related to various software applications based on test scenarios and test plans provided by the IPMS testing team. The individual should be able to provide test results received from the automated testing and share it with the testing team to detect software failures so that reported defects can be corrected within a timely manner and re-tested. The ideal candidate will be able to support the following functions:
- Work with the Government Project Manager and the IPMS testing team to identify areas where automated testing can be most beneficial and provide a schedule for automating testing activities in collaboration with the team
- Develop test scripts to automate testing activities to cover system testing, integrating testing, regression testing, and actively participate in problem solving, continuous improvement, and demonstrate strong dedication to quality and communication throughout the testing process
- Provide SOPs and keep them updated on a quarterly basis to cover all automated testing activities
- Maintain a repository of up-to-date test scripts in a location accessible by the testing team
- Provide guidance to team members and mentor them as needed, to develop scripts to support their testing activities with the goal of reducing manual testing efforts.
Clearance:
- Active Secret Clearance
Required Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in software development specifically related to automated testing
- Proficiency in creating automated tests for testing applications developed in .Net and ColdFusion
- Experience with automation tools such as Unified Functional Testing (UFT)
- Familiarity with software testing practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
- Ability to write and maintain clear documentation and test scripts
Preferred Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Abilities:
- Testing certifications: UFT or comparable
- Experience in government or regulated environments
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows
Professional Skills/Experience:
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication
- Perform analysis to improve overall quality of work products and process
- Exceptional client relationship skills
- Solid Microsoft Office suite skills to include Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office Visio
