Instructor / Trainer III

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, is seeking a senior-level Instructor/Trainer III with specialized expertise in search strategy and query development. This role combines advanced software training capabilities with specialized knowledge in analyzing inventive concepts and developing effective search methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in adult education and demonstrate expertise in both technical training and advanced search strategies.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- The Instructor/Trainer III will be responsible for delivering expert-level training across multiple domains while specializing in search strategy instruction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct advanced training on Microsoft Office products, collaboration tools, and COTS software
- Deliver specialized training on internal Automated Information Systems (AIS)
- Provide expert instruction on search strategy development and implementation
- Teach methods for analyzing inventive concepts and converting them into effective search queries
- Guide learners in query manipulation techniques for result refinement
- Develop and customize comprehensive training materials
- Evaluate and test new software products from a user perspective
- Ensure quality and availability of all training materials and equipment
- Provide leadership in training program development
- Mentor junior trainers and share advanced search methodology expertise
Education and Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience in adult learning training
- Demonstrated expertise in search strategy development and implementation
- Extensive experience in query development and optimization
- Proven track record of successful technical training delivery
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Expert proficiency in search strategy development and implementation
- Advanced knowledge of query manipulation and refinement techniques
- Mastery of Microsoft Office suite and collaboration tools
- Expert knowledge of internal AIS systems
- Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities
