Senior Full Stack Developer

Koniag Information Security Services, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to support KSS and our government client in Alexandria, VA.  This is a Hybrid role.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end web applications. You should be comfortable working on both front-end and back-end technologies and have a passion for delivering high-quality, scalable software.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, business analysts, and QA engineers.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and agile development processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Maintain documentation and ensure best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, including frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• Experience with Angular
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and HTTP protocols.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure Government.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
• Exposure to testing frameworks (JUnit, Karma, Jasmine, etc.).
• Experience working in a microservices architecture.
