Koniag Professional Services, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Acquisition Program Analyst with Secret Clearance with eligibility to be upgraded to TS/SCI clearance. This is a remote opportunity; with ability to support occasional Government travel.

Koniag Professional Services (KPS) currently has an opening for an Acquisition Program Analyst for the Department of Defense Office of the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Officer’s (CDAO) Acquisition and Assurance Office. The successful candidate will support the Government Client with the development and implementation of acquisition strategies and plans specific for artificial intelligence technology programs and initiatives. The successful candidate will provide support managing and interpreting portfolio-based capability financial management in support of the Acquisition and Assurance Office. The candidate will support financial and cost assessments and provide recommendations to Government personnel guiding the acquisition and execution of capabilities portfolio management.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  •  Develops and reviews/inputs to strategy documents, research plans, and roadmaps for assigned technical program area.
  • Supports and attends designated program reviews of CDAO Communities of Interest and programs, to include FFRDCs and UARCs.
  • Facilitates or leads deep dives, cross organizational teams into high-interest or game changing technology areas.
  • Provides support for review and execution of Congressional Special Interest Items, Congressional Reports, GAO studies, drafting policy guidance and responses, coordinating budget, and management oversight.
  • Provides support and coordination of technical program with USD A&S, USD R&E, and other agencies. Provides support to CDAO Programs.
  • Interacts with other Service/Component contracting offices to facilitate open issues in contracting, technology, and budgeting, to include approval of work plans and public release documents.
  • Perform complex financial analysis of contracting and schedules to inform senior government personnel.
  • Identify potential tradeoffs within and among multiple programs and provide executive managers with resource alternatives.
  • Review program costs as the basis of recommendations to authorized Government personnel.
  • Evaluate portfolio budget execution, assessing the impact of developing trends and issues using appropriate methodologies to determine if the program is proceeding within available resources and is consistent with goals.
  • Assists in preparing for meetings and workshops, to include coordination of calendars of senior DoD personnel; preparation of announcements, agendas, read-ahead documents, meeting minutes, and technical briefing materials; management of logistics, travel arrangements, and meeting-facility support; and preparation and administration of action items.
  • Applies knowledge and experience with the DoD Planning, Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution Process (PPBE) process to develop budget estimates and cost-related reports, documentation, and presentations

  • Secret Clearance with eligibility to be upgraded to TS/SCI clearance
