Business/ Functional Analyst

Koniag Tech and Infrastructure Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Business/Functional Analyst to support KTIS and our government customer in Mechanicsburg, PA.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Provide functional knowledge expertise for assigned applications and perform assigned tasks for assigned applications.
• Obtain requirements from customers/users.
• Develop documentation based upon Agile Scrum best practices.
• Identify, define, or modify interfaces with other systems/applications, ensuring agreements are formally documented with the interfacing system/application.
• Provide pre-implementation training resources to customers/users.
• Support resolution of production outages.
• Create and update work items in AzDO.
• Prepare release packages for approval.
• Analyze system requirements, convert functional design to detailed logic for coding the assigned software systems/modules/components.
• Review each module as well as the system as a whole for design validity.
• This includes, but is not limited to, validation of record input, data elements and output reports.
• Perform required testing based upon Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done, assuring software and systems quality and functionality.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of college/work experience plus 3 years of experience in Agile concepts and principles and experience participating in Agile teams.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in eliciting, documenting, and validating business requirements.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Excel).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to identify and solve complex business problems.
• Strong analytical skills to analyze data and draw meaningful insights.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in requirements and documentation.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Knowledge of business processes, industry trends, and best practices.
• Ability to think strategically and align business solutions with organizational
• Security+ Certification
• Ability to obtain a clearance
