Acquisition Program Manager
Koniag Professional Services, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Acquisition Program Manager with a TS/SCI clearance to support KPS and our government customer at the Mark Center, Alexandria, VA.

Koniag Professional Services (KPS) currently has an opening for a Program Manager for the Acquisition Integration and Interoperability (AI2) Office in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)). The successful candidate will lead activities supporting the development of acquisition strategies, policy formulation, and translating warfighting requirements into operationally effective capabilities. The candidate will design schedules and produce roadmaps. The candidate will also monitor compliance with contractual requirements, identify and assess risks, develop mitigation plans, and communicate with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and monitor capability portfolio cost assessments, schedules, and performance objectives to ensure continuous support to the warfighter.
- Develop program acquisition strategy; identify needs, conduct research, and draft capabilities needs statement, acquisition strategies, and acquisition plans.
- Review contracts, monitor program costs and schedule, identify risks, support risk mitigation efforts, and notify government officials if budget execution efforts are misaligned.
- Establish a robust stakeholder communication program. Communicate program status and risks to stakeholders, including leadership and end-users.
- Support the government lead to identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, including cost, schedule, technical, and programmatic risks.
- Support the government lead in ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with other program managers, functional specialists, and stakeholders to achieve portfolio objectives.
- Assist other team members in their assigned tasks and initiatives to accomplish the overall mission.
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience
- Extensive knowledge and experience with DoD portfolio-managed capabilities and program management.
- Understand the Defense Acquisition System (DAS), including the Acquisition, JCIDS, and PPBE processes.
- Experience designing and updating schedules and product roadmaps.
- Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to uphold a strict level of discretion and confidentiality
- Ability to take a conceptual discussion and convey the “so what” to other acquisition professionals, government leadership, and peers.
- Highly motivated professional and capable of managing a demanding workload while prioritizing and managing competing priorities
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills, a high level of integrity, critical thinking, and leadership courage.
- Advanced MS Word and PowerPoint skills; proficient MS Teams, Excel, and Outlook application skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience with the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, and Military Department policies and procedures preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field.

- To be considered, must have a Current/Active TS/SCI clearance
