Koniag Data Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking Guard Force Personnel with a Top-Secret security clearance to support KDS and our government customer in Boulder, CO. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

Koniag Data Solutions (KDS) is seeking dedicated Guard Force Personnel to protect our sensitive facilities and support our federal government clients' security requirements. This position requires an active Top-Secret clearance.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Control access to restricted areas and verify credentials
  • Conduct security patrols and surveillance operations
  • Monitor security systems and CCTV equipment
  • Respond to security incidents and emergencies
  • Process visitors and maintain visitor logs
  • Inspect vehicles and packages
  • Write detailed security reports and maintain records
  • Operate security screening equipment
  • Enforce security policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary
  • Participate in security drills and exercises
  • Monitor alarm systems and respond to alerts
  • Maintain security equipment and communications systems
  • Assist in evacuation procedures when required

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of security or law enforcement experience
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Strong knowledge of security operations and procedures
  • Experience with access control systems
  • Proficiency in security report writing
  • Understanding of emergency response procedures
  • Knowledge of physical security principles
  • Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods
  • Experience with radio communications
  • Ability to work various shifts including nights/weekends

Education:

  • High School Diploma

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience with data center operations
  • Military or law enforcement background
  • Additional security certifications
  • Experience in government facility security
  • Knowledge of SCIF operations
  • First Responder certification
  • Experience with classified material handling
  • Firearms qualification (if required)
  • Training in conflict resolution
  • Experience with incident command systems
  • Knowledge of federal security requirements
  • Anti-terrorism awareness training
  • Experience with badge systems
  • Advanced security training certifications
  • Defensive tactics training
  • Emergency medical response experience
  • Knowledge of NISPOM requirements
  • Familiarity with security technology systems
