Position Purpose

This position is responsible in the JCB Service Supply Chain team to meet team and business objectives.  The incumbent will be required to work within the North American and Global Parts team to achieve set goals, maintain inventory targets, monthly and annual inventory requirements with reporting.  The role has a number of work streams with a large portion operating in Syncron, SAP and Excel.  Having the ability to learn quickly is vital and previous system experience is preferable. Reports to General Manager NA Operations and works with Global Inventory Manager.

 

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

  • Inventory accuracy in all 4 North American PDCs
  • Cycle Count tracking and reporting to Group Accounting
  • Stock provisioning in conjunction with Global Inventory Team
  • Work closely with procurement team in US and UK to exceed Group availability KPI
  • Weekly stock orders for all North American PDCs
  • Proactively assist the business to meet its objectives
  • Population of dashboards (all frequencies)
  • Compiling weekly, monthly and annual business & departmental reports
  • Timely completion of analysis’ for NPI
  • Ad-hoc reporting
  • SAP maintenance
  • Updating existing reports with any changes
  • Utilization of SAP, Syncron and JDS to extract data
  • Work within Syncron to execute forecast and inventory processes

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must pass any drug screens, background checks and any pre-employment tests as applicable
  • 5 years of experience in inventory control in a distribution environment in a supervisory capacity
  • SAP Inventory Experience

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Ten-year experience in inventory control in a high-volume distribution environment
  • High degree of knowledge of Syncron
  • High degree of knowledge of SAP applications relating to Inventory, MM, WM, and Procurement

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable in an in-person office environment
  • Technical competence is a plus (engineering drawings and schematics)
  • Time management within a fast paced deadline sensitive environment
  • Must be customer service oriented, flexible, and have a high energy level
  • Must have excellent follow-through skills
  • Influence and manage change withing the business, promote creative problem solving and continuous improvement
  • Must be open to domestic and international travel
  • Desire and proven ability to learn and grow
  • Excellent listening skills and problem-solving techniques

 

Job Conditions

  • Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment
  • Subject to noise and temperature changes
