Position Purpose

Validate and process dealer claims and returns within an allotted timeframe.

 

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

•         Is the key point of contact for all dealer claims and return requests from the JCB Dealer Network as well as internal and external customers

•          Identifying claims in SAP requiring review and processing

•          Review and validate claims with supporting documentation

•          Interacting with dealers for any required additional information

•          Provides proactive customer support through ongoing review and administration of dealer claims and returns

•          Work with inventory control and JCB North American depots to partner on claim  processing

•          Provides any other customer support required, and performs any other activities necessary to meet and exceed department goals and expectations

 

Minimum Qualifications

•          Must pass applicable drug screens, background checks and pre-employment tests

•          High school diploma or equivalent

•          Two years’ experience within a manufacturing or dealer environment in a similar industry

 

Preferred Qualifications

•          Bachelor's degree in business or related field

•          Five years’ experience within a manufacturing or dealer environment in a similar industry

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SAP, Techweb, JCB Systems
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to take direction well and work with minimal supervision
  • Prior exposure to equipment parts and pricing
  • Parts and Technical acumen a plus
  • Up I 0% of the time will be spent in parts warehouse doing parts research

 

 

Job Conditions

  • Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment
  • Subject to noise and temperature changes
