Position Purpose

The Database Administrator is responsible for managing Marketing reporting and analytics, Oracle Eloqua reporting, performance dashboards, and lead scoring data to support data-driven marketing decisions. This role will monitor campaign ROI, conversion rates, and lead journey effectiveness, working closely with the marketing and sales teams to optimize strategies based on actionable insights.

 

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

  • Lead efforts to enrich and cleanse customer data, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and usability to power effective segmentation, personalization, and campaign automation
  • Develop and maintain Eloqua performance dashboards to track key marketing metrics, including email engagement, lead scoring, and campaign ROI.
  • Analyze lead conversion rates and customer journey data to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Generate reports on campaign effectiveness, audience segmentation, and engagement trends.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across Eloqua and Salesforce by auditing and cleaning datasets.
  • Implement A/B testing methodologies to evaluate campaign performance and recommend improvements.
  • Stay up to date with best practices in marketing analytics, automation, and data visualization.
  • Manage data imports and exports, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Implement and enforce data hygiene best practices, including deduplication, normalization, and enrichment strategies.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of cleansing and analyzing large sets of data
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Eloqua’s reporting suite.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in B2B marketing, preferably in manufacturing or heavy equipment industries.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools for advanced reporting.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM integration best practices.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and IT teams.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Analytics, and marketing automation reporting tools.
