Job Summary/Job Purpose

Under general supervision, this position provides equipment repair and maintenance, performing substantial maintenance, safety testing, and routine repairs in a healthcare environment.

Must be up to date on technological and medical advances. 

Must have the ability to repair and maintain a wide variety of equipment.

Computer Skills: Must be familiar with MS Office Suite and   Internet-based applications.

Language Ability: Intermediate:  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Math Ability: Basic: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percept and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Intermediate: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram form. to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
