Job Summary

The Order Consolidator is responsible for collecting, organizing and placing carboard shipping containers in the appropriate order consolidation location.

Essential Job Functions *

• Ensuring work areas are kept clean, organized and safe.
• Removes containers from conveyance system.
• Scans and places containers in directed consolidation location.
• Confirm accuracy of orders in consolidation locations.
• After completion, move pallet to shrink wrap location.
• Regular use of warehouse equipment including pump trucks, shrink wrappers and RF scanners
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Support and follow internal health and safety programs and protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education & Experience

• Secondary school diploma or higher.
• At least 1 year experience working in a distribution center, an asset.

Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Working knowledge of Warehouse Manager System (Manhattan) including being proficient with RF scanners and equipment is an asset.
• Communication skills – written, verbal and ability to read and understand internal documents
• Experience safely using warehouse equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
