Technical Lab Assistant - Lab

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Technical Laboratory Assistant performs various routine tasks; fills in for the receptionist and phlebotomist as needed; and works effectively with other laboratory and clinic personnel to provide efficient and effective services.

Formal training which will probably be indicated by a high school diploma or equivalent; certification from an approved CMA or phlebotomy training program required; ability to deal effectively with others; ability to work effectively in situations of high or moderate stress and tight deadlines; ability to interrupt work flow to deal with problems; and a high degree of knowledge regarding how the Hattiesburg Clinic laboratory functions.

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, four days a week (10-hour shifts) with rotating day off. 7:30AM - 6:00PM
