Coding Specialist - Coding

POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Coding Specialist works under general supervision to complete provider’s charges for inpatient/outpatient services. 
 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Certified Professional Coder (AAPC) (CPC) certification, required; or, graduate from a basic school of nursing (LPN or RN), required.  Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT and HCPC codes. Candidates must have a thorough knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.  
  

WORK SCHEDULE: 

Monday – Friday, 8:00A.M. – 5:00P.M. (Must work on site for one full year then would have the option to work remotely.)
