Patient Accounts Representative, Float and WCU Student Health Clinic - Patient Accounts

POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Patient Accounts Representative (PAR) is responsible for the registration of new patients, insurance verification and account counseling.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

High school diploma or equivalent, required; Proven experience as a patient account representative or similar role, preferred; Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion; Highly organized and detail oriented; particularly in regards to time management; Ability to prioritize key objectives while performing daily tasks as well as the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills; Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to effectively utilize applicable electronic systems and programs.

WORK SCHEDULE: 

Monday - Friday, 7:00A.M. - 4:00P.M.  (This position will work as a Float Monday-Thursday, 7:00A.M. - 11:00A.M., then will work at the William Carey University Student Health Clinic Monday-Thursday, Noon - 4:00P.M.  This position will also work as a Float all day on Friday's, 7:00A.M. - 4:00 P.M.)
