System Analyst - EpicCare

POSITION SUMMARY:  The System Analyst provides analytical, technical, and implementation support of our world class Epic EHR with a primary focus on our Ambulatory applications. System analysts are responsible for implementing system upgrades, building requested enhancements to the system and any related third-party applications, testing, maintenance, as well as having a working knowledge of Cogito’s reporting capabilities, plus assisting with resolution of end-user issues.

The individual hired will need to obtain Epic certification within 6 months of hire.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Working knowledge of an EHR and clinical workflows in an ambulatory setting
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to communicate effectively with clinical staff, IT staff, administrators and other stakeholders
• Strong people skills
• Skilled collaborator
• Have strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Current Epic certification or the ability to successfully complete and maintain certification
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, computer science, mathematics, health informatics, public health, any natural science or related discipline or relevant healthcare experience

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
