Medical Lab Technician or Medical Technologist - Cancer Center Chemo Lab

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Technologist works under general supervision to perform moderate and high complexity laboratory procedures involving a high degree of independent judgment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum requirements include a B.S. in an approved Medical Technology program/ a B.S. in a chemical or biological science, including one full year of training in an approved hospital MT program or an A. A. in an approved Medical Laboratory Technician program including training in an approved hospital MLT program

No bench experience required.  This level includes all Technologists/Technicians with less than three years of generalist experience; and all part time technologists.

Preferred background includes previous experience in a clinical laboratory, preferably in a medical group setting.

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 7:40AM - 5:00PM with a rotating early Friday.
