Imaging Technologist - Orthopaedics (PRN)
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Orthopaedic Imaging Technologist works under the general supervision of the Orthopaedic and Sport Medicine doctors performing diagnostic x-ray procedures along with working affectively with patients and other clinic personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Formal training, which will be indicated by graduation from a certified Radiologic Technology program, current MS State Board of Health registration, and ARRT certification. Current CPR certification is preferred.
Physical guidelines include ability to stand/walk for up to eight hours/day, bend, stoop, twist, assist patients in turning, assist patients on and of the exam table, assist patients in and out of wheelchair, be mindful of ionizing radiation and keep radiation exposure to a minimum.
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM, varied PRN schedule.
