GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
To manage the Goodwill Clean Technology Accelerator program and associated services in alignment with Goodwill’s Strategic Plan and Objectives.
To be responsible for managing relationships with key stakeholders in order to ensure the viability and sustainability of the organization.
To take accountability of program services from both financial and programmatic approach.
To manage program personnel with dignity and respect and develop talent within the organization.
To develop talent within the organization in order to promote, “The Best Place to Grow”.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To read, understand, and comply with all components of the Clean Technology Accelerator program and applicable grants or funding guidelines.
- To be knowledgeable of organizational practices, policies and procedures, and compliance with the same.
- To recognize gaps in processes and policies and make executive leadership aware.
- To identify innovations in training and partnerships to maintain relevant services offered through workforce platform.
- To be knowledgeable, understanding, and compliant with Risk/Safety policies and procedures.
- To ensure compliance of data entry and reporting to GII or other funders is accurate and timely.
- To develop and manage processes for audits and reports for internal and external funders, both programmatically and financially.
- To provide appropriate reports and charts to leadership in alignment with GIUMSC’s Strategic Plan.
- To coordinate and lead departmental staff meetings, trainings and other means of communication to convey messaging and practices are aligned.
- To complete, process and deliver associate annual performance reviews on time.
- To perform administration, quality assurance and timely reporting of required documentation.
- To provide guidance, supervision and support in the coordination of all services to GCTA Team Leads and Career Navigators and other associates who report to the Missions Manager.
- To guide program staff to ensure positive outcomes and to meet or exceed performance outcome measurements.
- To support and assist GCTA Staff in recruiting participants to meet enrollment number and comply with all eligibility requirements.
- To support with GCTA Information Sessions, Orientations and Intake as needed.
- To provide supervision and mentoring to GCTA participants as needed.
- To develop program plans, goals and supportive services to ensure the best path toward success and self-sufficiency while complying with all Goodwill Industries programmatic standards and regulations.
- To manage the coordination of GCTA services to include Work Readiness classes, Education, Training, Employment, and Supportive Services.
- To assist and support direct report(s) with the development of resources.
- To be responsible for the safety and reporting of all participants under her/his supervision.
- To develop, evaluate, and monitor program performance.
- To develop and manage processes for program audit(s) visits for both programmatic and financial.
- To establish and maintain positive working relationship with Workforce Development staff and all resource and partnering agencies.
- To act as a liaison between Goodwill Industries, participants, and partnering agencies.
- To help establish partnering agencies for Work Experience, On- The-Job Training, Apprenticeships or Internships.
- To obtain and manage an approved MOU for partnering agencies which are applicable.
- To support participation in Work Experience and ensure growth in career readiness and a positive learning experience.
- To assist in job development for purposes of creating employment opportunities for participants.
- To ensure compliance of participant files to all programmatic standards and regulations and help provide accurate documentation for all activities, services, and contact.
- To ensure HIPPA compliance and maintain confidentiality of all records and files.
- To help facilitate Career Development activities.
- To assist in following through with program evaluation and accountability.
- To help ensure the accuracy and timely billing processes for the services.
- To provide oversight and approve personnel timecards according to payroll guidelines and policies.
- To have knowledge of and operate within an approved budget through monthly monitoring processes.
- To create and manage GIUMSC’s budget within PowerPlan software and monitor spending rates within budget/actual.
- In addition to the above, this position may be held to additional responsibilities from a specific DOL, State, Federal, local or private grant or funding source.
- To perform all other duties as may be assigned.
Reports to: CWD Senior Mission Manager
Education: Bachelor Degree in field of Human Services or Education preferred; or appropriate combination of post-secondary education and work experience in field of Human Services or related fields to support the mission.
Work Experience: At least four years of experience in the field of Human Services, Education, customer service, teaching environment, and/or Recreation and at least two years of experience in a supervisory role. Grant writing or working with grants is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must possess a valid South Carolina Drivers License.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Preferred knowledge of Goodwill regulations, guidelines, and mandates.
- Ability to interpret and administer Goodwill regulations, guidelines, and mandates.
- Ability to read and understand a Profit & Loss statement and budget.
- Ability to meet the public and establish positive relationships with a wide variety of people, businesses, employers and agency representatives.
- Ability to present in a classroom environment
- Must have component computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Basic office equipment knowledge including computer, smartboard, virtual platforms, telephone fax, and copier.
- Work independently and demonstrate time management skills
- Maintain confidentiality
- Acquire certification in First Aid, CPR, MANDT and other certification/training as needed.
- Handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements: Daily requirements may include climbing, balancing, reaching, talking hearing, seeing, standing, stooping, kneeling, handling, lifting, carrying, typing on computer and sitting for long periods of time, pushing, and pulling. May be exposed to dust and odors. May be required to do limited work outdoors.
Safety & Security: Responsible for following all safety, security, and money handling procedures, as directed by Goodwill policy. Report all accidents, however slight, to your supervisor immediately. Never leave the premises without reporting any accident that occurred during your working time. If medical treatment is needed during your non-work hours, the supervisor should be contacted.

Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday – Friday, or whatever hours are required to meet the professional requirements of the job and is scheduled to work approximately 40 hours each week.
Work Attire: Casual business attire, however business attire when appropriate. Each associate will present a fashionable, neat, and clean appearance that will be reflective of Goodwill’s positive image in the community.
