TITLE: ENGAGEMENT AND HR PROGRAMS MANAGER

STATUS: EXEMPT

REPORT TO: DIRECTOR – HR PROGRAMS AND GOVERNANCE

DEPARTMENT: HR – PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

JOB CODE: 11912

PAY RANGE: $83,900.00 - $90,000.00 ANNUALLY

 

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: 

The Engagement and HR Programs Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing employee engagement strategies and HR programs that foster a positive workplace culture, enhance employee experience, and support organizational goals. This role partners closely with HR leadership, business units, and cross-functional teams to drive initiatives that improve employee satisfaction, retention, and performance.

TASKS, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS: 

  1. Develop and execute employee engagement strategies aligned with company values and business objectives.
  2. Lead the planning and execution of engagement surveys.
  3. Monitor engagement metrics and provide regular reporting to leadership.
  4. Develop and execute employee engagement strategies aligned with company values and business objectives.
  5. Champion recognition programs and employee events promote a culture of inclusion and appreciation.
  6. Evaluate and improve existing HR programs to ensure alignment with best practices and organizational needs.
  7. Collaborate with HR Leadership to ensure seamless program delivery.
  8. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations in all HR programs.
  9. Serve as a liaison between HR and internal communications to ensure consistent messaging across all HR programs.
  10. Track project milestones, budgets, and outcomes, and report progress to senior leadership.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.

 

PHYSICAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXERTION UTILIZED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THESETASK: 

  1. Effective oral and written communication skills required to talk to HR staff members, all other levels of employees in the Credit Union, and outside contacts on the telephone and in person.
  2. Must possess sufficient manual dexterity to skillfully operate an online computer terminal, personal computer, and other standard office equipment, including photocopier and telephone.

 

ORGANIZATIONAL CONTACTS & RELATIONSHIPS: 

  1. INTERNAL: All levels of staff.
  2. EXTERNAL:Will partner with external vendors and maintain positive relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  1. EDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or similar work experience.
  2. EXPERIENCE:5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on employee engagement and HR Program management.
  3. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:  
    • Excellent written and verbal communication.
    • Attention to detail and ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
    • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret engagement and HR metrics.
    • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word skills.
    • Experience working cross-functionally and influencing a diverse group of stakeholders.
    • Ability to influence an build relationships at all levels of the organization.
    • An extreme enterprise and growth mindset, driven by intense curiosity.
    • High level of discretion, judgment, and diplomacy.
    • Ability to maintain and manage confidential information.
    • Initiative-taker who can work with limited supervision and direction and set priorities independently.
    • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
    • Proven experience working cross-functionally and influencing a diverse group of stakeholders.
    • Experience in adaptation of working style to fit the needs of teams.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

    • Prolonged sitting throughout the workday with occasional mobility required.
    • Corrected vision within the normal range.
    • Hearing within normal range. A device to enhance hearing will be provided if needed.
    • Occasional movements daily to interact with staff, accomplish tasks, etc.
    • Occasional lifting up to fifteen pounds, bending, and stooping.
    • Limited local and statewide travel by car or public conveyance.
