What you’ll do…

The A/R Attachment Specialist’s primary role is to add attachments to claims following payer requirements for adjudication.  This person should be detail oriented and have the ability to communicate effectively with both operation team members, as well as insurance companies.  While it is important to work well with their team, it is equally important that they are self-motivated.

This position is located at the GEDC Practice Support Center in Southfield, MI and would require an on-site presence five days per week.

• Ability and self-confidence to communicate effectively, and tactfully, to both large insurance company representatives and individual operations team members

• Resolving high volumes of claims requiring attachments
• Other tasks as requested by direct manager

What we require you have…

• High school diploma or GED
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience in claim attachments and clinical knowledge preferred
• Analytical and problem solving skills with a passion for detail & accuracy
• Reliability and flexibility with time committed to the position
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• 1+ years Dental Front Desk, Medical/ Dental Claims, Clinical knowledge of x-rays and reports
• High volume, fast-paced office experience a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and claim attachment programs
• Proficiency in reading dental x-rays and reports
