Facilities Maintenance Technician
Summary: Under general supervision and with independent judgment maintains and repairs electrical and HVAC systems, electronic components of machinery, and equipment on one or more of the company properties by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains company facility and other company-owned properties by performing activities such as:
- Making minor and routine repairs to internal and external structure of facilities.
- Notifying management concerning need for major repairs.
- Removing snow, litter and other items.
- Builds custom tailored equipment, repairs existing equipment, dismantles defective equipment, and installs new or repaired parts.
- Builds, removes, or reconfigures work stations and related accessories.
- May provide leadership to junior staff by assigning tasks, training and providing guidance. May provide input to management regarding junior staff performance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
Level 4: Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
