Position Title:         Engagement Manager

Job Description:

Collaborate with client stakeholders to analyze and synthesize the client data to meet the business objective, reporting dashboard, and descriptive/predictive/prescriptive analytic requirements. Plan project timelines, milestones, and implementation approaches in collaboration with client stakeholders providing timely updates. Establish best practices for project management (AGILE / JIRA / Kanban familiarity), team management and documentation (confluence / slides development). Mentor project managers and other team members for consistent growth within our organization. Develop case studies / slides / white papers highlighting work done by data science teams. Participate in hiring drives and campus recruitment to strengthen and maintain the quality of data science teams. Determine how best to leverage machine learning and advanced analytic methods (Ensemble models, Decision trees and Neural networks; Operations research; Statistical modeling such as multivariate techniques) to support business objectives. Efficiently construct, develop, and implement the models in a variety of modeling tools, achieving highly accurate models. Contribute insights from conclusions of analysis that integrate with initial hypothesis and business objective. Communicate analyses by preparing presentations for and participating in C-level clients. Leverage best practices and industry leading tools and technologies to profile data, develop efficient ingestion, and build semantic data layers. Design data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases. Position may work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States. Telecommuting permitted.

Job Requirements:

Requires Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Math, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Engineering, or a directly related field Six (6) years of Experience in data science or machine learning. Must have two (2) years of experience in each of the following: SQL; Python; Cloud Environment(s) such as GCP, Snowflake, or Azure; Machine Learning Libraries; Project Management Tools such as JIRA, or Kanban; Computer Vision Libraries; Machine Learning Framework(s)such as Linear Modeling, Non-Linear Modeling using Sklearn or SparkML; Unsupervised Learning; Neural Networks. Employer will also accept a Master’s degree plus five (5) years of experience required in data science or machine learning in lieu of a  Bachelor’s degree plus Six (6) years of experience required in data science or machine learning . Position may work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States.

40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, Salary range: $151,000 to $170,000 per year.
