Business Analyst

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Business Analyst to support an Operational Excellence (OPEX) framework assessment workshop. The Business Analyst will work closely with senior consultants, process owners, and stakeholders to document current-state processes, analyze gaps, and support the development of future-state recommendations aligned with the operational excellence framework best practices.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for monitoring activities, as well as for diagnosing and resolving issues and providing root cause analysis with recommendations for improvements.  

Must Have Skills:

• Must be able to do thorough research and be able to present and document results in effective manner.
• Develop process flow diagrams, swim lane diagrams, and value stream maps to enhance operational

visibility

• Assist in planning and facilitating client operational excellence framework assessment workshops
• Support data gathering, brainstorming sessions, and stakeholder interviews
• Must come up with solutions to the problems encountered in process walkthroughs and suggest consulting methods/models
• Must be able to analyze large amounts of data and other business processes to support in conducting gap analysis between current operations and to be operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to management, team members, business, and technology professionals and collaborate with these cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand workflows
• Familiarity with business/organizations analysis tools and methodologies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management or a related field.
• Relevant coursework in Managerial Statistics, Financial Markets and Consulting Models & Methods is preferred.  
• Some of experience or exposure to Project management or consulting workshop

Technical Skills

• Excels in the following business applications: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and Visio Process Flows.
• Basic SQL and Tableau experience
• Awareness of Python will be preferred 

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Requires excellent communication, analytical skills; Excellent oral, writing, and presentation skills to effectively communicate technical/non-technical information to all levels of internal and external project teams.
• Ability to plan, schedule, organize, coordinate, and execute monitoring activities
• Detail-oriented with a structured approach to documentation and process standardization.
• Ability to develop good working relationships with business sponsors, business partners and technical staff.
