Job Title: Cybersecurity SME
Durations: 6 months to hire
Description Cybersecurity Consultant, Strategy & Transformation – Advisors
In this role you will lead delivery of multiple client engagements across direct and network distribution channels, industries and types of projects, such as cybersecurity risk management, cyber crisis management, breach and attack simulations and cyber threat intelligence. You will work under client’s supervision and help structure engagements to address client problems and support sales teams. In leading the problem-solving process to drive high-value decisions, you will mentor and coach junior teammates and contribute to Client’s knowledge management and best practices. You are expected to not only have a tremendous impact in transforming our clients, but also have a leading role in shaping the future of the cybersecurity services.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted client business advisor and own senior client relationships from mid-level to C-suite.
- Oversight and delivery of client projects and solutions for assessing risk exposure, protecting against attacks, and orchestrating continual improvements of cybersecurity.
- Ensure flawless delivery of cybersecurity services projects and solutions while maintaining the highest standards of quality in our customer relationships.
- Assist with sales and product management activities such as technical pre-sales support and creation of products bundles.
- Lead definition and development of deliverables to solve client problems, address and communicate difficult client situations, and produce actionable recommendations.
- Create positive team environment and support collaboration across multiple teams to produce outstanding deliverables.
- Manage and collaborate with other assigned resources on engagements to drive results, including engaging internal stakeholders from business development and client account management.
- Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues identified throughout the delivery of initiatives.
- Ensure completion of projects in an efficient and cost-effective manner in line with deadlines and required structures.
- Contribute to evolving our products supporting the Global and Regional product strategy.
- Build relationships with clients and key internal stakeholders as a cybersecurity subject matter expert and trusted engagement leader.
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years experience with cybersecurity advisory services in a consulting organization (Manager or higher level) with team management responsibility in cybersecurity projects. General ITGC Controls testing experience not considered relevant for this role.
- Experience with the application of information security standards and good practices such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, ISO27001, NIST, CIS, CSA and hands-on experience in executing and managing cyber security risk & controls assessments and/or audits.
- Experience in assessing and building cybersecurity programs and solutions that balance protection and business needs.
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills and ability to structure analyses to from cybersecurity data-driven solutions.
- Demonstrated working experience with security technologies and processes such as awareness and training, cloud security, crisis and incident response management, third party risk management, threat and vulnerability management, security in disruptive technologies such AI - Artificial Intelligence, CRQ – Cyber Risk Quantification, web application firewall, identity theft protection.
- Industry savvy, understanding emerging cyber trends and using market opportunities.
- Experience in a matrix organization structure, managing and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Meticulous with excellent coordination and project management skills to manage multiple projects and work streams effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulate storytelling and translating complex insights into compelling narratives that resonate with clients.
- Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to identify new business development opportunities and experience drafting proposals and scoping new opportunities.
- Experience with payment ecosystem security and beyond: understanding of security models in traditional financial services customers e.g. Acquirers, Processors, Issuers and customers
- Desirable certifications CISM, CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CCSP, ISO27001 Lead Auditor
- MBA or master’s degree with specialization in cybersecurity
- Multi-lingual (Spanish/ Portuguese) may be a plus, but not required.
