Location: NY ( Hybrid role- 3 days client office)
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in leveraging cloud platform, especially AWS Redshift or Athena, and understanding cloud-based security practices and optimizing data processes of large datasets.
- Proficiency in SQL for extracting, transforming, and analyzing data from databases, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
- Skills in creating informative and visually appealing dashboards and reports using tools especially Tableau.
- Understanding of corporate audit processes, risk management, and compliance in the insurance industry.
- Ability to provide strategic insights, consultative guidance, and actionable recommendations to improve audit process.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Competency in using Python for data analysis, automation, and building tools to streamline audit procedures.
- Strong analytical and critical -thinking skills to identify trends anomalies, and potential areas of risk within large dataset.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis, identifying discrepancies, and mitigating risks effectively.
- Readiness to adapt to evolving audit requirements and a commitment to continuous learning to stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in leveraging cloud platforms, particularly AWS Redshift or Athena.
- Strong expertise in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Experience creating informative and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Tableau.
- Familiarity with corporate audit processes, risk management, and compliance in the insurance industry.
