Location: NY ( Hybrid role- 3 days client office)

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Proficiency in leveraging cloud platform, especially AWS Redshift or Athena, and understanding cloud-based security practices and optimizing data processes of large datasets.
  • Proficiency in SQL for extracting, transforming, and analyzing data from databases, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
  • Skills in creating informative and visually appealing dashboards and reports using tools especially Tableau.
  • Understanding of corporate audit processes, risk management, and compliance in the insurance industry.
  • Ability to provide strategic insights, consultative guidance, and actionable recommendations to improve audit process.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Competency in using Python for data analysis, automation, and building tools to streamline audit procedures.
  • Strong analytical and critical -thinking skills to identify trends anomalies, and potential areas of risk within large dataset.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis, identifying discrepancies, and mitigating risks effectively.
  • Readiness to adapt to evolving audit requirements and a commitment to continuous learning to stay updated on industry trends and technologies.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in leveraging cloud platforms, particularly AWS Redshift or Athena.
  • Strong expertise in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Experience creating informative and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Tableau.
  • Familiarity with corporate audit processes, risk management, and compliance in the insurance industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Competency in using Python for data analysis, automation, and tool development.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Willingness to adapt to evolving audit requirements and commit to continuous learning.
