Job Description
Assists in operation of manufacturing process systems and the maintenance thereof; Implements cost reduction opportunities (yield and productivity improvements, waste elimination); Works with and trains bargaining unit employees to improve work processes and product quality; Works to minimize or eliminate safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity problems; Uses hand and machine tools, precision gauges, test instruments, and process equipment; Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain Security Clearance
- Associate degree in Science, Electronics or equivalent OR at least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Effective communication and documentation skills
- Experience in training individuals
- Ability to handle multiple high priorities; comfort with ambiguity
- Must possess basic MS Office skills; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint…
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with various forms of deposition processes (e-beam evaporation, sputtering) and wet etching processes
- Experience writing MS Access queries
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software; Minitab, JMP, SAS…
- Ability to collaborate with all facets of the Night Vision organization
- Comfortable with self-initiating business and professional improvements
- Ability to support the organizational culture and build morale
