We are excited to welcome a Benefits Administrator to our Lancaster, PA team!
Summary: This role will oversee Ecore’s benefits programs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of benefits principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to provide exceptional service to all internal and external stakeholders. This role involves utilizing Dayforce HRIS software to ensure accurate processing, auditing, and reporting of benefits data.
Salary: Starting at $68,000 and up, based on experience
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the administration of employee benefits programs, including but not limited to health insurance and retirement plan
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns regarding benefits, as well as partnering with our benefits call center for employee questions.
- Assist in benefits enrollment processes, including new hire onboarding, and annual open enrollment project
- Manage the end-to-end administration of leave of absence programs, including FMLA, state-specific leaves, and worker compensation. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including HR Business Partners and EH&S, to ensure accurate and timely processing of leave requests
- Ensure compliance state laws as it relates to benefits (state leaves of absence laws, vacation/sick leave requires, and other laws related to benefit topics
- Partners with external vendors, such as third-party administrators and insurance carriers, to manage disability and/or workers compensation claims effectively
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and other regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with vendors, brokers, and third-party administrators to resolve employee benefit issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and procedures related to benefits administration
- Support communication efforts to educate employees on available benefits and changes
- Assist with benefits-related projects and initiatives, such as system upgrades, benefits plan changes, and vendor management
- Administration and management of Medical Support Notices
- Monitor and audit benefits data for accuracy and compliance
- Support HRIS functions by reviewing weekly benefits files issues and partnering with 3rd party vendor to determine the issue and escalate to HRIS, as needed
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources or related discipline
- 5 years of benefits experience
- Experience with Dayforce
- Experience in Excel required
- Experience with benefits systems integration and automation is a plus
- Experience working with self-funded insurance administration preferred
- Thorough knowledge of federal and state employment benefit laws
- Strong understanding of benefits principles, practices, and trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Must be able to work with and manage confidential information
