Title: Supply Chain Lead

Location: Abu Dhabi

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Lead to oversee and manage all aspects of the supply chain for our defense contract program in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing supply chain activities to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of materials and resources to support our program. The role requires a deep understanding of defense industry regulations, procurement processes, and logistics management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support the program's objectives and requirements.
• Manage the procurement process, including identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with defense industry regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as engineering, manufacturing, and logistics teams, to coordinate the delivery of materials and resources according to program schedules.
• Monitor and assess supplier performance, including quality, delivery, and cost, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Analyze and optimize inventory levels to ensure adequate supply while minimizing excess stock and related costs.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including ITAR, EAR, and other defense industry export controls.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the supply chain.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management within the defense industry, with a strong understanding of defense procurement processes and regulations.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex supply chain operations and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, including ERP systems, demand planning, and inventory management.
• In-depth knowledge of defense industry export controls, including ITAR and EAR regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and performance metrics.
