Responsibilities:
- Complete daily/weekly/monthly orders and evaluate and facilitate approval on all purchase orders and coordinate with receivers and buyer(s) to ensure accuracy of all deliveries.
- Review invoices and related documentation and maintain appropriate inventory levels consistent with targeted inventory goals.
- Assist in Monitoring supplier performance (On-time deliveries, Meeting company quality & specifications and follow up on open POs and clear void POs from ERP system. Conduct monthly inventory count as assigned.
- Ensure compliance of product specification and food safety and perform other tasks and special projects as assigned
- Update inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels.
- Process requisitions and update management on status of orders.
- Assess quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management.
Qualifications:
- Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Assesses critical needs and prioritizes urgent responsibilities
- Excellent planning and coordination skills
- Dedication and attention to detail with regards to customer service
- Hands-on in order to make sure all flights are successfully dispatched on time
- Ability to manage quickly to overcome any deficiencies in the purchasing department
- Ability to work in fluctuation temperatures
- Flexibility (different shifts - night, weekends, holidays)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within food and beverage industry.
- Proficient computer skills (Particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Bachelor degree is preferred
