NOTE - this position is 100% onsite at our customers offices in Midtown Manhattan.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Break/Fix Troubleshooting & Repairs

  • Diagnose and resolve issues with LED video walls, Barco presentation systems, projectors, and high-end production displays.
  • Troubleshoot complex signal flow issues across HDMI, SDI, Dante, and fiber infrastructure.
  • Support Crestron NVX and Evertz AV routing systems, including matrix switchers and control surfaces.
  • Repair, replace, and reconfigure hardware such as AJA converters, Clear-Com comms, and Blackmagic devices.

Control Systems & Networking Support

  • Maintain and troubleshoot Crestron control systems, including touch panels, scheduling interfaces, and control scripts.
  • Assist in operating and maintaining Evertz broadcast routing, Barco control interfaces, and Ross Video signal processing.
  • Work with IT to troubleshoot AV-over-IP systems using Dante, AES67, and Netgear AV switch configurations (VLANs, multicast, QoS).

Preventative Maintenance & System Upkeep

  • Perform routine system checks, firmware updates, and configuration backups to maintain high availability.
  • Maintain and organize AV racks using best practices for cable management and cooling (Middle Atlantic, APC).
  • Assist with video/audio system calibration, DSP configuration, and endpoint diagnostics.

End-User & Executive Support

  • Provide real-time, professional support for high-level executive meetings, town halls, and live streams.
  • Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers (Crestron, Evertz, Q-SYS, Yamaha, Shure, Panasonic, Biamp) for escalations, RMAs, and warranty service.
  • Document all issue resolutions and system adjustments in a ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk).

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3–5+ years in AV support, broadcast operations, or field engineering, preferably in a corporate or live production environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Crestron NVX, DM and control systems
    • Evertz broadcast routing and signal management
    • Blackmagic Design switchers, converters, and HyperDecks
    • Panasonic UE150 PTZ cameras, Ross Video workflow integration
    • Dante audio networking, Yamaha mixers, and Shure wireless systems
    • Barco ClickShare and control solutions
    • Clear-Com intercom systems
  • Proficient in troubleshooting AV/IP systems, signal flow (HDMI, SDI, DisplayPort, fiber), and control surface behavior.
  • Familiar with AV network infrastructure including Netgear M4250/M4300 switches, VLANs, IGMP, and multicast distribution.
  • Experience supporting and maintaining LED video walls, projection mapping, and digital signage.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Able to lift AV gear, climb ladders, and support event setups as needed.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Crestron, Dante, or CTS certifications
  • Experience supporting live streaming, hybrid meetings, or enterprise virtual events
  • Familiarity with video recording and editing tools like AJA Ki Pro, OBS, or vMix

Why You’ll Succeed:

You thrive in a hands-on, high-performance AV environment, take pride in delivering flawless technical execution, and enjoy working closely with end users to ensure seamless events and day-to-day media operations.
