FWS Student Worker III, Off Campus (Social Media Manager Intern)

OPPORTUNITY:

• Administrative support role for currently enrolled students.
• This is an off campus Federal Work Study Position.

Job Location: This internship role is HYBRID and the student is required to go on-site 1-2 times a week at the work location which is Glen Ellyn Civic Center, 535 Duane Street Glen Ellyn, IL 60137.

We are located a 2-minute walk from Glen Ellyn Train Station and the Illinois Prairie Path in downtown Glen Ellyn.

Internship Schedule: Approximately 25 hours per week during business hours

Innovation on DuPage is seeking a Social Media Manager who wants to gain experience in a real working environment. We are looking for a self-motivated and organized student who is interested in creating and managing our social media channels.

• Create, manage, and schedule social media content on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn.
• Compose, edit, and proofread creative content social media posts.
• Conduct interviews with ID community members.
• Carry out research and social listening activities.
• Build Buzz around Innovation DuPage’s offerings.
• Report on the health of our social media channels.
• Other responsibilities as assigned

• Must be an enrolled student.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a current student in good standing and possess a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of six credits per semester.
• FWS fund eligible.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-directed, motivated individuals.
