Workforce Development Training Manager

Claratel Behavioral Health is looking for a dynamic Workforce Development Training Manager to lead strategic employee development and training initiatives that strengthen our organization and the communities we serve.

About the Role

Reporting to the Quality Improvement Department, the Workforce Development Training Manager plays a key role in cultivating a highly skilled, supported, and mission-driven workforce. You’ll drive the planning and implementation of training programs, oversee learning systems, support leadership development, and build partnerships with community stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing

Strategic Workforce Planning

  • Design and lead a comprehensive workforce development and training strategy aligned with our mission
  • Identify skills gaps and organizational training needs through data, feedback, and collaboration
  • Build leadership development pathways and professional growth opportunities for all staff

Training & Learning Leadership

  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and ensure all training programs meet compliance and regulatory standards
  • Oversee CEUs, e-learning, in-person sessions, and vendor-led training programs
  • Serve as the internal training expert during audits and organizational evaluations
  • Track and report on training impact and effectiveness using real-time data and employee feedback

Team & Culture Development

  • Mentor a team of trainers and coordinators; lead workgroups and internal committees
  • Launch mentorship and coaching programs to support employee engagement and retention
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and organizational excellence

Community Engagement & Collaboration

  • Build strategic partnerships with local colleges, workforce boards, and training providers
  • Represent Claratel at community functions, collaboratives, and professional networks
  • Seek out and manage workforce development grants and funding opportunities

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Public Administration, Social Work, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum of 3–5 years in workforce development, training, compliance, or HR—preferably in healthcare, nonprofit, or public sectors
  • Proven experience leading training programs and managing teams
  • Familiarity with behavioral health or human services a plus
  • Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with LMS platforms and e-learning tools like Articulate, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia
