Position Summary

As a Fully Licensed Clinician, you’ll conduct biopsychosocial assessments, provide evidence-based counseling, and collaborate on comprehensive care planning. You’ll help clients discover their path to recovery through individual, group, and family therapy while supporting them with trauma-informed, client-centered care.

You’ll also be a key part of a multidisciplinary team that includes medical, psychiatric, and case management professionals, working together to provide holistic, person-first treatment.

Core Responsibilities

Assessment & Triage

  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial and suicide risk assessments
  • Use diagnostic criteria and clinical judgment to inform treatment plans
  • Provide sound triage decisions and document assessments in the EHR

 

Therapeutic Services

  • Facilitate individual, group, and family counseling sessions
  • Utilize evidence-based approaches tailored to mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders
  • Build meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients and their support systems

 

Treatment Planning & Coordination

  • Develop, implement, and update collaborative treatment plans
  • Coordinate care with internal and external providers
  • Serve as a resource for accessing DCSB, state, and community supports
  • Document referrals, discharges, and other care transitions per policy

 

 

 

Professional Development & Compliance

  • Maintain clinical licensure and participate in ongoing supervision
  • Engage in continuing education and clinical trainings
  • Contribute to a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth

 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
  • Fully Licensed as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Georgia
  • 2+ years of clinical experience, preferably in behavioral health or addiction
  • Proficiency with Electronic Health Records and multitasking in a clinical environment
  • Strong diagnostic, engagement, and documentation skills

 

Preferred:

  • Experience with co-occurring disorders or working with youth populations
  • Training in evidence-based treatment modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, MI)

 

Working Conditions

  • Outpatient clinic setting
  • Mon – Fri, 8:15 AM to 5:00 PM (occasional evenings/weekends as needed)
  • Use of computers, phones, fax, copier, and EHR systems daily
