Claratel Behavioral Health is an innovative, community-based behavioral health and developmental disabilities services organization located in metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia, offering a full range of mental health services, developmental disabilities programs and substance abuse treatment to more than 11,000 citizens annually who are uninsured and underinsured. Keep Our Spaces Running Smoothly
Are you a hands-on problem solver with a knack for maintenance and repair? Join our team as a Facilities Technician Lead and play a vital role in keeping our facilities safe, efficient, and running smoothly.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the go-to expert for repairs, maintenance, and facility upkeep
- Handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and more – no two days are the same!
- Respond to maintenance requests quickly and efficiently
- Conduct routine inspections of building systems (lighting, security, fire safety)
- Oversee vendor repairs and facility improvement projects
- Work with the Health & Safety Team to ensure top-notch environmental standards
What You Bring:
- Technical training or certification in facility maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, or a related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in facility maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid Driver’s License (travel between locations required)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, work on-call shifts, and respond to emergencies
