2025 BIPOC SCHOLARSHIP - Fall 2025, 200HR TT
Purpose: To support individuals in the Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) community who aspire to become certified yoga teachers and contribute to a more diverse teaching landscape. Through these scholarships, CorePower Yoga aims to reduce financial barriers, increase representation in our studios, and help build a more inclusive yoga community that reflects the richness of the world we live in.
200 HR Teacher Training, Fall 2025 Scholarship Details:
- Applications Accepted: Monday July 7th – Wednesday July 9th 2025
- Total Scholarships available:
- 50 Full Scholarships
- 100 Partial Scholarships (available to first 100 that enroll)
- Programs Offered: Online or In Studio 200 HR TT Programs for Fall 2025. See list of programs available at https://www.corepoweryoga.com/content/200hr-yoga-training-programs
- Scholarship Eligibility: Individuals that identify as BIPOC, have a plan to become a yoga teacher, do not have a 200 HR yoga certification, and do not otherwise have access to resources for a teacher training program.
- Response Timeline: All applicants will receive communication on Monday August 4th if they received either full, partial or no scholarship for this round
Application Guidance:
- Take time for meaningful self-reflection
- Share your authentic experiences, intentions, and aspirations to become a yoga teacher
- Responses should demonstrate personal insight, not just generic or AI-generated content
- Limit the use of AI tools to grammar + proofreading
- Applications will be scanned for AI generated content
- Submissions lacking genuine personal reflection may be disqualified
- Applicants should demonstrate:
- Strong alignment with the CorePower Pillars
- Commitment to active participation in mentorship program (monthly 1-hr meetings)
- A clear plan for how this certification will:
- Uplift others through teaching yoga
- Promote diversity in the yoga community
Full Scholarship Recipients Receive:
- Complimentary all-access membership during training
- Access to brand partnership events
- Participation in virtual community connection events
- Mentorship program (1-hour monthly with a current CorePower Yoga teacher throughout training)
- Note: Partial scholarship recipients may receive opportunity to be involved in mentorship program and some virtual community connection events on a first come first serve basis
