Scrum Master/Coach
What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Scrum Master within our Domestic Payables division. This position falls under our Corpay Payables line of business. We’re seeking an experienced Scrum Master who is passionate about agile methodology and thrives in a highly collaborative team environment. You think critically as well as have an ability to empathize with different team perspectives. You will have strong problem-solving and communication skills and have experience collaborating with business and technical teams in a dynamic environment. This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated and dynamic Scrum Master looking to work in a highly collaborative Agile environment. You will report directly to the VP of Technology and regularly collaborate with other IT teams.
How We Work
As a Scrum Master, you will be expected to work in a remote/hybrid environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Ensuring Daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives lead to clear priorities, alignment, and continuous improvement actions that enhance delivery predictability.
- Ensuring you proactively surface and eliminate blockers to minimize delays and keep work progressing smoothly across sprints.
- Tracking and communicate team velocity, burn-down, and other Agile metrics, supporting transparent progress updates and forecast accuracy.
- Guiding the team in applying Scrum principles effectively, demonstrated by improved ceremony quality and team self-assessment scores.
- Helping the team understand customer outcomes, increasing empathy, solution focus, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Ensuring that completed work consistently meets agreed quality criteria, reducing rework and boosting customer confidence.
- Driving Department-wide adoption of Agile practices, resulting in faster time-to-value, improved team autonomy, and increased alignment with strategic priorities.
- Cultivating Agile behaviors across all levels of the organization, leading to stronger collaboration, adaptive planning, and improved delivery outcomes.
- Facilitating actionable retrospectives and metric reviews that result in iterative improvements in velocity, quality, and team morale.
- Building Agile capability through customized training, increasing confidence, clarity, and consistency in how Agile is practiced across teams.
- Bridging delivery and strategy by guiding teams with product context, resulting in more meaningful solutions and increased stakeholder satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills
- At least 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master and/or Agile Coach.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification.
- Advanced certification such as Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) preferred.
- Knowledge of other agile methodologies (Kanban, XP, SAFe) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate software engineering and/or development concepts and principles.
- Strong leadership and servant-leadership mindset.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle.
- Experience with agile project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to understand product strategy and translate it into actionable insights for development teams.
- Excellent problem solving abilities with analytical thinking and data-driven decision making.
