QA Lead
What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a QA Lead with strong technical skills and solid backend experience within our Corpay division. This position falls under our North American Vehicle Payments line of business and is located in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will work in close collaboration with other stakeholders to help define test strategies, test plans, test objectives and organizational test policies. We are looking for strong leadership skills in managing the QA team and overall QA processes, methodologies and test strategy improvements. This is a hands-on position responsible for performing functional testing and also for managing overall QA objectives and deliverables for a dynamic software development team. You will report directly to the Application Delivery Director and collaborate with various other teams in the division.
How We Work
As a QA Lead, you will be expected to work from the Atlanta, GA office. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:
- Assigned workspace in the Atlanta office
- Company-issued equipment + remote access
- Hands-on training
Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Leading the QA team on overall testing activities, approaches and strategies.
- Preparing, review and maintain testing documents (i.e. test plans, test cases, test reports) to ensure complete test coverage.
- Executing test cases, review results, work with programmers for bug fixes.
- Facilitating and lead regular QA team meetings.
- Prioritizing testing activities.
- Managing risks and deliverables to ensure testing activities remain within agreed upon scope, schedule, budget and quality standards.
- Working closely with development teams to report and escalate relevant testing issues and challenges that arise during testing activities.
- Preparing and deliver reporting metrics, test reports, plans and problems to upper management.
- Participating in building and automating end-to-end test scenarios.
- Training and mentor junior members of the team.
Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve company and project goals and objectives.
- Produce test documents, test scenarios, test cases and plans for various phases of the project to identify defects or missed requirements quickly and efficiently.
- Proven ability to perform manual and automated tests.
- QA/Test team capacity planning.
- Issues and Defect management.
- 7+ years of experience in testing software, with a focus on manual tests in such areas as functional, regression, integration, user interface, performance and security testing.
- 2+ years of management or leadership experience required.
- Degree in computer science technology or related qualifications.
- Proven experience, designing, developing and executing effective testing strategies.
