Director, Sales Org Design

What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Director, Sales Org Design, within our US Sales and Marketing function.  In this role, you will lead the strategy, structure, and design of Corpay’s global Sales organization to support scalable growth, drive performance, and enable operational efficiency. You will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and regularly collaborate with Sales Leaders, Finance, HR, and Revenue Operations.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Leading the strategic design and evolution of Corpay’s global Sales organizational structure to enable long-term revenue growth and operational scale.
  • Partnering with the CRO and Sales Leadership to shape future-state org models that support go-to-market innovation, customer segmentation, and geographic expansion.
  • Developing forward-looking capacity and talent models to inform headcount planning, location strategy, and market coverage.
  • Driving alignment across Sales, Finance, HR, and Revenue Operations to translate business goals into organizational frameworks and role architecture.
  • Advising senior leaders on the organizational implications of strategic shifts, including new product launches, segment realignment, and M&A activity.
  • Defining and maintaining global sales role classification, including levels, job scopes, and career progression paths to support talent mobility and enablement.
  • Leveraging internal data and external benchmarks to assess organizational health and provide actionable insights on productivity, span of control, and structural efficiency.
  • Building scalable, repeatable org design playbooks and decision-making frameworks to support quarterly business reviews and annual planning cycles.
  • Leading cross-functional efforts to operationalize org design recommendations, ensuring seamless execution across systems, people, and processes.
  • Acting as a strategic advisor to Talent Acquisition and HR on workforce shaping, role creation, and succession planning tied to sales transformation initiatives.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in sales strategy, revenue operations, or organizational design within a high-growth or matrixed environment.
  • Proven success leading large-scale org design or restructuring initiatives within a global sales organization.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to connect org structure with revenue and cost levers.
  • Experience working closely with senior sales executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills; ability to build and interpret org models and performance dashboards.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with post-merger integration and high-growth scaling environments.
