Concordia Visiting Nurses has a great full-time opportunity at our Valencia office location. We are seeking to hire a Intake Supervisor. This position comes with an extensive benefits package.
The Intake Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the Intake Team. The Intake Supervisor is responsible for managing workflow and for ensuring that the Intake Team meets all internal requirements for timely processing, follow up, and collaboration.

Qualifications for the Intake Supervisor position:
- Proficient with a personal computer and with Microsoft Word and Excel programs
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and organize daily work responsibilities Prior experience in workforce scheduling and/or data entry recommended.
- Associate’s degree in healthcare (or a related field of study) or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) designation or relevant experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for the Intake Supervisor :
- Supervises day to day operations of Intake and Insurance Verification teams
- Assists with the clerical duties associated with referrals
- Handles escalated customer calls
- Works closely with department supervisors and managers for process improvement
- Enters the patient demographic information into the database
- Communicates all therapy referrals to appropriate groups or individuals
- Assists in statistical data gathering
- Prepares weekly referral report
- Verifies patient insurance, as needed
- Researches concerns/issues in a timely manner Performs one on one training for team members upon hire and at regular intervals to ensure that work performance and customer service standards are being met
- Conducts annual performance evaluations of all direct reports
- Responsible for payroll and approval of time sheets and assists with leave of absence tracking
- Creates and maintains monthly employee schedules and daily task assignments Responsible for progressive disciplinary and counseling for employees, as needed
- Documents and teaches new processes, as developed
- Assists with the implementation of new technology for Intake and Insurance Verification teams
