Speech Therapist

Located in Ligonier, PA, Concordia at Bethlen is seeking a Part Time/Full Time Speech Therapist.

The Speech Therapist is a licensed professional responsible for providing therapeutic intervention in the rehabilitation and restoration of residents through the use of assessment and treatment procedures/modalities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Speech Therapist:

• Performing comprehensive evaluations of residents.
• Completing assessments and diagnostic procedures.
• Developing treatment plans.
• Providing speech language pathology services, treatments, and therapeutic interventions.
• Planning safe discharges with the resident, family, caregivers, and physician.
• Completing timely documentation.
• Committing to and maintaining high ethical standards and complies with the Code of Conduct.

Qualifications of a Speech Therapist:

• Must possess a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university program
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (C.C.C.)
• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
• A.S.H.A. membership encouraged
• C.P.R. certification strongly preferred and encouraged
• One to two years experience preferred in a long-term care/sub-acute care as S.L.P.
