Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible providing high quality care for the residents here at Concordia at Bethlen.

This position features competitive rates (we pay more for experience), shift differentials of $1.50/hour for the afternoon shift, shift differentials of $1.00/hour for the midnight shift, and $1.00/hour offered for those waiving insurance benefits.

Currently Seeking Full & Part-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for three 12 hour shifts (6p-6:30a).

**$2,000 Retention Bonus for Part Time, $4,000 Retention Bonus for Full Time**

Qualifications of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Dedicated to providing high quality care
• Caring and compassionate
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing
• Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Practical Nurse
• Demonstration of leadership ability
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Medication administration following all applicable policies and rules
• Timely and accurate documentation
• Communication of significant resident changes to the physician and supervises/monitors the care provided by CNAs on the unit.
• Follows up on appropriate paperwork and orders
• Communicates proactively and professionally with residents and families keeping them aware of changes in resident’s condition, incidents, and problem resolution
