POSITION SUMMARY for the Hospice IPU Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides skilled nursing care to hospice patients in accordance with the individualized plan of care developed by the patient and/or family, physician and hospice team. Care for the patient is given where the patient resides (i.e., patient’s home, facility, hospital).
QUALIFICATIONS for the Hospice IPU Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Current LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania·
- Demonstrates excellent clinical skills· Current CPR certification· Solid computer skills, including Word·
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail·
- Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal)·
- Reliable independent means of transportation with a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and at least the minimum state required vehicle insurance
