Infant Room Teacher

Are you looking for a position in childcare? We are looking for an additional Infant Room Teacher for our childcare center!

As an employee at Concordia, you will be responsible for providing daily program activities and the oversight of children. This is a an extremely rewarding position for those who are patient, compassionate, and have a love of working with children.

Position details:

• Part Time (3 days per week, 32-38 hours per week)
• Monday through Friday with no weekends or holidays

Qualifications:

Must possess a high school diploma and one of the following:

• 30 credit hours from a college in early childhood, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human service field
• 15 credit hours from a college in the above mentioned field and 1 year experience with children
• 2 years experience with children

As well as:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
• Customer service and hospitality skills
• Must be efficient, organized, and able to multi-task

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for all aspects of supervising children including but not limited to; meal/lesson time, clean up, diaper changes and toileting, including changing diapers.

2. Planning and implements daily program activities.

3. Coordinating activities with group supervisors and director.

4. Communicates with parents concerning pick up/drop off time and updates.

5. Maintains a clean and sanitized environment at all times.

6. Follows all safety precautions per DPW regulations.
